Welcome to the new and improved information area which now covers all the content available through the site, that
means that you can now find all the articles, all the guides and any of the tutorials and all the code snippets and
samples under one roof. The new system means that you can pick out just the relevant content without having to wade
through all the content you don't want - which is great if you know roughly what you want because you can find it
here and now.
If you cannot find what you are looking for
drop me an e-mail saying what you were looking
for - if enough of you ask for it then I will give some thought to writing it for inclusion on the site. Also
remember to check back every so often as new content gets added all the time!
Filtering...
So how do you do this filtering? Using a filter is as simple as answering two questions - look underneath this block
of text, do you see those tick-boxes? The first set represent the types of information available (e.g.
Source code
& scripts) while the second set represent the types of topics the information actually covers (e.g.
Active
server pages).
If you tick the
ASP entry and then search you should get back a list of all the topics with information which
in some way relate to ASP (eg. code and/or tutorials). Now let's say that you decide you just want to see the code
and nothing else - untick all the document types apart from the
code entry and then run another search, now
you should have just the code topics! Filtering is that simple.
